Iv’e got to start by saying . . .I think I’m really starting to get dreamweaver and actually liking it. . .I really like how we learned I frames and how we view them on fire fox. But now I’m getting off topic. Our homework this week was really beneficial. I can honestly say I have never ever been to youtube in my life. I started to look up topics that intrest me and was amazed all the links acces to the world I found!
I then typed in graphic design portfolios. I really didn’t know what to expect.At first I thought it would just be links to someones web page, what it was not!. . .It was straming video of companys even student artwork, ideas,logos,and inspiration. The first portfolio I clicked on was Kristinas gallery. I learned if you are fixing to graduate and want to get a job or even just get recognized YOUTUBE is the way to go. . . .thats what this young lady did. She put all of her finest work and made sure everyone on the web had easy acces to view. . . THATS AN EXCELLENT IDEA. . .I didnt just learn something new; Ilearned something that will hopefully further my carrer by doing this myself!
The next graphic portfolio was the samething . . .He was a student and he was just sharing his creative concepts maybe for an assignment or maybe for fun. This portfolio was not as well put together as KRISTINAS GALLERY. What I mean it it look like when he put his images on the internet he did it maybe the wrong way. It looked like the compression and the resolution was off or he saved it in a wrong format.. . . Therfor u can have the best portfolio in class or even on the web; but if people cant view it properly “I frames” it wont do u justice. . . thats why it is so important in taking these homework exercises sieriously because the very fundamental things we are learning in school right now will later be used IN LIFE.
